N.B. Presently, in order to minimise the risk of Covid cross contamination we are accepting only one party at a time in the house. This may be one couple or a ‘bubble’ of up to three couples who are happy to manage social distancing to their satisfaction. The self-catering accommodation is available separately.
An idyllic country escape serenely situated in the ancient hamlet of Ednam, near Kelso. Luxurious B&B in the house or self-catering in the cottage.
Comfortable bedrooms. Delicious breakfasts. Elegant public rooms and delightful gardens. All very secluded and private.
Our bedrooms, spacious and reassuringly comfortable offer complete privacy and tranquillity. Restful beds, easy chairs, good lighting and plenty of storage space. The bedrooms are thoroughly steam cleaned and sanitised following the departure of every guest and, to further enhance bio security during the current pandemic no-one other than the guests will enter the room until the guests have completed their stay and departed. A consequence of this added layer of bio security is that the rooms will not be serviced during occupation.
The public rooms are luxuriously furnished and offer a haven for relaxation. A place where you can unwind in front of an open fire with a good book and a glass of wine. The delightful gardens overlooking the Edenwater abound with nooks and corners all furnished with chairs and tables so you may enjoy the evening sunshine in complete seclusion.
