Enjoying good food & wine goes way beyond mere eating and drinking!
Private dinner parties.
The somewhat hedonistic dining room at Edenwater House has seen some wonderful dinner parties. Over a gourmet dinner, with fine wines to match, conversations have ebbed and flowed. Old friends have come together, special occasions have been celebrated and memories relived. Menus are always decided in conjunction with the host and wines are selected to suit. Your enjoyment and satisfaction is paramount. Minimum number 6 , maximum 12. The cost of our four course dinner is £46.00: wines according to selection.
House parties, aka d’Vine Experiences.
Where the entire house is booked for a group of friends or family, a corporate bonding weekend or a special anniversary, we can, in discussion with you, organise exactly what style of weekend you want. You decide what you would like, starting with the kind of menus you want then adding in any wines you would like to have. Whether you want a themed wine tasting weekend or a weekend of sheer indulgence we will do everything we can to ensure you enjoy a d’Vine experience.
If you want to plan a special event, a garden party, a barbecue or a small wedding reception the house and surrounding grounds are private, picturesque and perfect. Ednam Church is adjacent the house.
Please contact us to discuss your requirements. The overall cost will vary depending on the menu chosen and the wines selected. Whilst we have only four rooms there are other B&B establishments nearby so groups in excess of 8 can be accommodated, depending on availability.
Dish of the day, Plat du Jour, Tagesmenu, Dagmenu, Piatto del giorno, Platto del dia, etc.
We are happy to offer resident guests our dish of the day. Salads, cold meats, terrines, cheeses, breads and chutneys; Pizza, pies or soups all prepared on the premises. So, after a days travelling you can enjoy our ‘Plat du Jour’ over a glass of wine or a beer. Or, if you prefer, you can choose to visit one of the excellent local bistros or restaurants in Kelso which is only two miles from Edenwater House.
